Open course: Digital Accessibility for VCU Faculty
In this open, self-paced course, you will explore foundational strategies for designing content that supports all learners, particularly those with disabilities, and meets federal accessibility guidelines and best practices in higher education.
The first two modules cover basic topics and concepts pertaining to digital accessibility. The third module introduces two powerful tools integrated into Canvas: TidyUP, which helps clean up and organize course files, and UDOIT (Universal Design Online Content Inspection Tool), which scans course content for accessibility issues and offers actionable feedback.
